Webbing & Tape

Product Name : Jacquard Webbing

Description
Jacquard Webbing incorporates logos, lettering, repeating motifs, geometric patterns, and other visual elements directly into the woven structure, creating a distinctive textile appearance without relying solely on surface printing. It is suitable for products where branding, decorative detail, and strap functionality need to be integrated into one component. Common applications include bags, luggage, apparel, footwear, belts, pet products, camera straps, outdoor products, and branded accessories.

Different materials, including Polyester, Nylon, PP, Cotton, and Polyester/Cotton blends, can be selected according to the required appearance, hand feel, construction, and end use. Single-sided, double-sided, flat, textured, and multi-color woven effects can be developed to suit different product designs. Material selection, webbing dimensions, color combinations, and woven construction can also be coordinated with hardware, sewing, assembly, and subsequent processing requirements.

Fu Jyi Lin supports OEM and custom Jacquard Webbing development from design review and sampling through weaving, converting, and production. Customers may provide logos, artwork, Pantone references, physical samples, dimensions, hardware information, or finished-product requirements for evaluation. Cutting, folding, sewing, hardware assembly, and selected functional finishing can also be incorporated when required, helping buyers develop customized webbing or assembled components for ongoing production.

 Specification

*Product Name:
Jacquard Webbing

*Material:
Polyester, Nylon, Polypropylene (PP), Cotton, Polyester/Cotton Blend, or other materials according to project requirements. Material selection can be evaluated according to the required appearance, hand feel, webbing construction, processing method, and end-use application.

*Common Widths:
18, 25, 38, 50, and 75 mm. Other widths within approximately 10–100 mm can be evaluated according to pattern proportions, webbing construction, hardware dimensions, and product requirements. Widths outside the common range may be developed as custom specifications.

*Common Thicknesses:
1.4, 1.5, and 1.8 mm. Other thicknesses within approximately 0.5–3.0 mm can be evaluated according to base material, weave density, webbing construction, surface effect, and end-use requirements.

*Weave / Surface Options:
Flat Jacquard, Raised / Textured Jacquard, Single-Sided Jacquard, Double-Sided Jacquard, repeating woven patterns, and other custom jacquard structures can be evaluated according to the required appearance and product design. Available structures depend on material, width, pattern complexity, and production conditions.

*Colors / Custom Color Matching:
Base and pattern yarn colors can be selected according to the required design. Custom color matching is available based on specified Pantone references. Reasonable color variation may occur due to fiber type, yarn characteristics, dye lot, weaving structure, and processing conditions.

*Design Color Options:
Multi-color jacquard weaving can be evaluated according to webbing width, base material, pattern complexity, yarn selection, and production conditions. The practical number of colors may vary by design and webbing construction rather than following a fixed color limit.

*Edge Finish:
Woven edges, cut edges, and other suitable edge or end treatments are available according to webbing construction. Heat-cut finishing can be evaluated for suitable thermoplastic materials such as Polyester, Nylon, and PP. Cotton and other non-thermoplastic materials may require alternative edge-finishing methods.

*Basic Converting:
Cut-to-length processing, heat cutting where applicable, folding, punching, sewing, reinforcement stitching, riveting, hardware assembly, and other component processing can be evaluated according to the finished-product design. Processing methods depend on material, webbing thickness, construction, hardware, and assembly requirements.

*Functional Finishing:
Water-repellent treatment, UV-resistant treatment, flame-retardant treatment, anti-mildew treatment, antibacterial treatment, custom coating, and other functional finishes can be evaluated according to the base material and intended application. For specified performance requirements, applicable test methods, target values, and acceptance criteria should be confirmed before development.

*Applications:
Common applications include bags and luggage, apparel accessories, footwear, belts and straps, pet products, camera straps, outdoor products, branded accessories, promotional products, and other sewn or assembled textile components. The appropriate material and construction should be selected according to the intended product and performance requirements.

*Standard Roll Packing:
50 meters or 100 meters per roll.

*Custom Packaging:
Custom roll lengths, cut lengths, individual packaging, small packs, bulk packing, or other packaging formats can be evaluated according to production, assembly, shipping, or project requirements. Additional packaging requirements may be quoted separately.

*Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ):
3,000 yards per color. Actual order requirements may vary depending on material, width, pattern complexity, color configuration, webbing construction, and processing requirements. Orders below the standard MOQ can be evaluated and quoted separately.

*OEM / ODM Services:
Custom development is available for material, width, thickness, jacquard pattern, color combination, surface effect, edge finishing, converting, functional finishing, and packaging. Customers may provide logos, artwork, Pantone references, physical samples, dimensions, hardware information, or finished-product requirements to support feasibility review, sampling, and production planning.

*Specification Notes:
Jacquard patterns are created directly through the weaving process rather than applied as a surface print. Fine lettering, small graphic elements, complex logos, and detailed color transitions may therefore require design adjustment to achieve suitable woven definition. Pattern proportions may also need to be modified when the same design is developed in different webbing widths.

For custom development, sampling is recommended to confirm pattern scale, logo positioning, color combination, surface appearance, hand feel, and compatibility with the intended hardware or assembly method before mass production. Minor variations between approved samples and production lots may occur due to yarn characteristics, dye lots, weaving tension, and finishing conditions.

If a project requires controlled logo dimensions, pattern repeat, color tolerance, finished dimensions, or specified functional performance, the applicable requirements and acceptance criteria should be provided before sampling or quotation. Fu Jyi Lin can review the intended application and design information to determine an appropriate production approach.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What information should I provide for a Jacquard Webbing quotation?

Please provide the required width, thickness, material preference, colors, quantity, intended application, and any converting or finishing requirements. For custom woven logos or patterns, artwork, Pantone references, physical samples, or product drawings are helpful. If some technical specifications are not available, Fu Jyi Lin can evaluate suitable materials and production options based on your design and end-use requirements.

2. What materials can be used for Jacquard Webbing?

Jacquard Webbing can be developed using Polyester, Nylon, PP, Cotton, Polyester/Cotton blends, or other suitable materials. Material selection depends on the required appearance, hand feel, product application, processing method, and performance requirements. Buyers do not need to determine the yarn specification in advance; the appropriate construction can be evaluated during product development.

3. What types of logos, lettering, and patterns can be woven into Jacquard Webbing?

Logos, lettering, repeating patterns, geometric designs, and other brand elements can be incorporated directly into the woven structure. However, very fine text, small graphic details, complex color transitions, or intricate artwork may require adjustment. Webbing width and pattern proportions also affect woven definition, so design feasibility should be evaluated before production.

4. Is sampling recommended before mass production?

Yes. Sampling is recommended for custom Jacquard Webbing to confirm pattern scale, logo positioning, color combination, surface appearance, hand feel, dimensions, and compatibility with hardware or assembly requirements. Customers should evaluate and approve the sample according to their own product requirements and testing criteria before mass production, particularly when appearance or specified performance is critical.

5. What converting and finishing options are available for Jacquard Webbing?

Depending on the material and finished-product design, options may include cut-to-length processing, folding, punching, sewing, reinforcement stitching, riveting, hardware assembly, and suitable edge finishing. Water-repellent, UV-resistant, flame-retardant, anti-mildew, antibacterial, coating, or other functional treatments can also be evaluated according to the intended application and specified performance requirements.
